The World is Ever Changing
The world has always evolved, revolved and grown, and the human race has made some spectacular discoveries in recent years. Like, the first self-replicating, synthetic bacterial cell was created which could develop more effective pharmaceuticals, such as a vaccine for HIV and advance water-cleaning functions or efficient new biofuels that work at scale. What really surprises me though, throughout all these amazing scientific discoveries, and how civilisation itself is continually evolving and expanding, learning new things, there are still stupid, teenage girls who dress in denim short-shorts, tight t-shirts and push up bras and sleep with anything on two legs that’s beating. 15 years old, the aforementioned dress style of shorts and shirt, boobs out past her nose, hair scruffy and untidy, bad blonde and brown dye job, red/ruddy/purply lipstick, lined eyes…shags her boyfriend in the woods, breaks up with him 20minutes later, fools around with one guy, he leaves, she then shags another guy, all while her now just recent ‘ex is lying….6feet away? Oh, and also while other people are in the area…inches away from her. This little…thing…this slag…was not in my good books this morning, and I made it very clear to her I did not appreciate what she’d done. She looked at me across the table with heavily lidded, eyeshadow eyes as if she couldn’t quite comprehend what I was saying, and then just laughed. It was a sad, pathetic laugh. Like one who’d lost their mind a bit, just having a milliseconds moment of clarity, and chuckling at their misfortune. A sad, heart-wrenching little laugh really. My point is, how the fuck has civilisation evolved, but there are still people acting like this?
